Bahia Culebra

Land at Liberia International Airport, where your Pelorus host and yacht captain will meet you and escort you to your vessel. Having met your crew, swim and paddleboard through the mangroves up to the edges of Iguanita Wildlife Refuge and Manzanillo Beach. Keep an eye out for curious howler monkeys, marine iguanas and perhaps even shy white-tailed deer.

Bahía Culebra boasts superb water quality and is a model for archaeologists, since pre-Columbian settlements have been discovered both in the forest and underwater. Snorkel or dive and see if you can spot any remains before enjoying a sumptuous dinner on board.

Islas Huevos

Anchor just beyond the breaks at Playa Tamarindo, where both beginners and seasoned surfers can catch waves on this iconic stretch of beach, made famous by the cult surf film Endless Summer. The whole family can dive into the vibrant underwater world, swimming alongside eagle rays and whitetip sharks. Then, board a helicopter for a family excursion to the breathtaking Rincón de la Vieja National Park.

Spanning over 34,000 acres, the park is home to two volcanoes, 32 rivers and streams, and countless wildlife encounters. Spot kinkajous, pumas, and tapirs as you hike through jungle trails, with rare emerald toucanets and blue-crowned motmots flitting overhead. Cap off the adventure with thrilling class II and III whitewater tubing or rafting before flying back to your luxury yacht for a well-earned evening of relaxation.

Playa Conchal

Head out to the deep blue waters of the Pacific in your tender and encounter pods of humpback whales en route to the warmer waters of Central America to calve. Join these giant pelagics in the water and watch them breach. Have lunch on Playa Conchal, a beautiful beach made of crushed seashells on the Costa Rican Gold Coast.

Drive in 4x4s to Palo Verde and mountain bike or hike through this incredible landscape. Palo Verde National Park has a dichotomous character with spectacular wetlands and some of the best tropical dry forests in the world. Hike this diverse terrain of marshland and limestone hills and spot reclusive jaguarundi. Board a riverboat to spot freshwater crocodiles, variegated squirrels, white-throated capuchin monkeys, and a variety of tropical and migratory birds.

Isla Tortuga

Wake up at Isla Tortuga. At first light, hike into the Coru National Wildlife Refuge. Leaving early gives you the chance to see elusive species such as Collared Peccary, Coati, Coyotes, and Iguanas as they emerge at dawn. Following a wild breakfast in the jungle, stroll to Quesera Beach and snorkel over the Psammocora Reef that teems with tropical fish.

Fly inland to the Arenal Volcano and cross the private nature reserve on hanging canopy bridges accompanied by a naturalist guide. Head to the Venado Cave system, an underground world of limestone channels nearly 20 million years old. This unique adventure will bring you 8,850 feet into the earth, where fossils and subterranean animals reside. Wade through an underground river to see stalactites, stalagmites, and a waterfall with an expert naturalist guide.

Quepos

Explore the spectacular Manuel Antonio National Park where tropical rainforest collides with unspoiled beaches. Journey through the rainforest with an expert guide on horseback to reach hidden waterfalls where you will be rewarded with a refreshing dip in the secluded waters.

Quepos is renowned for deep sea fishing, with waters teeming with sailfish, marlin, mahi mahi and mackerel. Your expert team will assist you as you practice your angling skills. Bring your catch back to the yacht and your chef will lead you in a cookery class dictated by your catch.

Drake Bay

This protected bay is the perfect place to pick up kitesurfing, wakeboarding or jet skiing. Head ashore and zipline from tree to tree before horse-riding up to a mountainside farm overlooking the Aqujitas River for a traditional Costa Rican lunch. Get involved in crucial conservation work, joining marine biologists in their efforts to track the movements of hammerhead sharks. Catch your own hammerhead and fit a tagging device before returning them to continue their journey.

Drake Bay is rumoured to be the location of the British Pirates most fabled treasures. Experience a pirate-themed scavenging adventure which will see you kayaking through mangroves, snorkelling to retrieve parts of the puzzle from the seabed and exploring hidden jungle caves behind waterfalls.

Isla Del Cano

Isla del Cano is a world class snorkelling and diving destination. Swim amongst colourful reefs and encounter sharks, eagle rays and turtles. Descend to the ocean floor in a submersible that will take you 450 feet below the surface. Discover a host of pelagic life all from the sub’s 360-degree-view cockpit. The information collected from your submersible dives will contribute vital data needed to protect Costa Rica’s rich marine life.

Corcovado National Park

A thriving hub of wildlife including tapir and jaguar, Corcovado National Park is the perfect place for a remote guided hike. Here enjoy a gourmet wild, jungle picnic. Spend the afternoon climbing huge trees with spider monkeys and rappelling down the huge 100ft King Louis Waterfall.

Hike through the cloud forest and discover a remote jungle camp. As night falls, arm yourselves with headlights and hiking gear and discover a night-time serenade created by an orchestra of moths, iguanas, insects and frogs. After a wild breakfast, decamp to explore the tropical lowland ecosystem. Kayak and drift through lagoons and river mazes before returning to your yacht.

Golfo Dulce

The Golfo Dulce is one of the most impressive tropical fjords in the world. Trek into the Piedras Blancas National Park, home to the last remaining jaguars in Costa Rica. Track these enigmatic creatures alongside expert Pelorus guides.

Paddleboard through thriving mangroves, crucial nursing grounds for hammerhead sharks, shrimp and crabs.
