Curieuse, Praslin and the Coco de Mer

April and May can bring calmer seas and clearer water, making this a strong shoulder-season window for diving, snorkelling and photography. Inner Islands routes through Mahé, Praslin, Curieuse, La Digue and Ile Cocos work particularly well at this time.

June to September can bring stronger trade winds and more exposed conditions, particularly around the Outer Islands. Yacht selection, routing and flexibility become especially important, and some itineraries may focus more closely on sheltered anchorages, diving windows and conditions on the day.
