ABOUT SARASTAR

SARASTAR was built in 2017 by Mondomarine and accommodates 12 guests across six cabins, including a master suite with midnight blue onyx detailing, a velvet ceiling and two private folding balconies. The interiors throughout are a serious design statement: marble floors, a back-lit onyx staircase, a chandelier in the main salon and rich materials chosen for their quality rather than their restraint. The result is a yacht that feels closer to a private art collection than a standard charter interior. The sun deck adds a glass surround, glass flooring and an exotic garden, with a full bar and an event-ready layout that works as well for a private dinner as it does for a group that wants to use the space into the evening.

A touch-and-go helipad on the bow allows private aviation transfers directly to the yacht in ports where that matters. Why we love it

It is the beach club disco and the helipad on the same yacht. Most charter yachts at this length choose a character and commit to it. SARASTAR does not. The interiors are a serious design statement, marble, onyx, velvet, a chandelier, and then there is a certified RYA water sports centre on board and a beach club that runs until late. Running a private charter programme through Japan and Asia this winter, with Pelorus designing the itinerary around the group, puts her in a category with almost nothing else currently available.
