ABOUT BOLD

Launched in 2019, 85.3m BOLD was built in Australia by SilverYachts with her naval-inspired design penned by the renowned Espen Oeino. This ground-breaking yacht was crowned the world’s fastest explorer yacht at the time of her launch with a top speed of 23 knots. Add to this a draft of only 2.8 metres allowing access to shallow waters and anchorages, unprecedented in a vessel of this size, and the result is a yacht optimised for true global adventure.

Her 400m2 and 34m long main deck aft has been cleverly designed to act as a multi-purpose space. When the folding handrails and retractable hydraulic bulwarks are lowered this area becomes a certified helideck complete with flush lighting allowing for after-dark heli-operations. A 6-ton crane with a 15m reach means this space can also be used as a tender and water toy launch area. Alternatively, this deck can be set up as a spacious alfresco lounge.

BOLD’s interior design makes use of her architectural features as well as oak and teak panelling, painted metallic accents and oak and marble flooring to create a chic and contemporary atmosphere. Interior living on board centres around a remarkable 300m2 loft-style skylounge and adjoining Wintergarden. Here, floor-to-ceiling windows offer exceptional oceanic views and a 6x3m media wall is ideal for cosy movie nights. Guests can choose to dine indoors or out in her adaptable all-weather Wintergarden with wraparound sliding glass panels and powerful air conditioning. Her equally spacious and meticulously designed accommodation caters for up to 16 guests and includes a master quarters with bedroom, his and hers ensuite bathrooms, a private saloon and direct access to the exterior decks.
