Kabui Bay

Set out on an exciting journey as you arrive at Sorong Airport, where the Captain and crew will welcome you aboard your waiting vessel. Explore Kabui Bay, a narrow strait nestled between Gam and Waigeo Islands, that is a stunning labyrinth of limestone formations. The landscape, where the rainforest meets the reef, is teeming with remarkable wildlife for you to discover. Enjoy forest trekking, bird watching, paddleboarding, and kayaking, or simply relax on the deck, soaking up the serenity of this natural wonder.

Kiri Island and Kawe Island

Witness the captivating dance of birds of paradise at sunrise on Kri Island, and meet the “Tapokreng” community as you share a moment with elementary school students and try some famous betel nuts. Cruise to Kawe Island, renowned for its stunning white sand beaches and picturesque waterfall. Dive into the crystal-clear waters, exploring impressive coral formations and swimming alongside graceful manta rays.

Wayag Islands

As the journey continues, you’ll be captivated by the pristine beauty of the Wayag Islands. Embark on a guided hike to summit one of the many island peaks, where you will be met with a wild picnic set up surrounded by breath-taking views. Dive or snorkel in the vibrant coral gardens, where an abundance of marine life awaits. Alternatively, grab a paddleboard and glide along the shoreline, exploring the dramatic limestone islands up close.

Fam Islands and Tomolol

Continue on to the Fam Islands, where hidden bays and tranquil blue lagoons await. Anchor in Tomolol Bay on Misool Island, which boasts countless small karst islands. Explore this captivating maze of islands using a tender or kayak, revelling in the exceptional scenery. Venture into an impressive cave by canoe, paddleboard, or swimming, where you’ll encounter enormous stalactites and experience a profound sense of tranquillity. This cave holds sacred significance for the local community, adding a priceless spiritual dimension to your explorations.

Wayil Batan and Koon Island

Begin your morning with a peaceful paddleboard through the shallow bays of Wayil Batan, encountering diverse bird and marine life such as frigate birds, stonefish, scorpionfish and colourful corals. Or, for something more high-octane, wakeboard between the charming mushroom islands.

On Koon Island, surrender to tropical bliss as you enjoy the pristine sandy beaches and the abundant waters which encircle the island. With fishing prohibited on the island, the marine life thrives, transforming your swimming experience into an aquatic wonderland – keep an eye out for encounters with whales and dolphins.

Banda Neira

Set sail for Banda Neira, the heart of the Spice Islands, where you’ll be welcomed by the Kora Kora community. Explore the historic old town, once a bustling centre of the spice trade in the 18th century. Take the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the volcano’s peak, granting you a panoramic view of the entire archipelago.

Run Island

Prepare for an unforgettable diving experience on Run Island, where divers will be treated to remarkable visibility and the opportunity to encounter schools of hammerhead sharks (available during October and November) gracefully gliding through turquoise waters. The sheer size and distinctive shape of their heads, coupled with their unique swimming patterns, create an otherworldly ambience that is both humbling and mesmerizing, leaving a lasting impression of wonder and respect for these incredible marine predators.

Nusa Laut and Ambon

On Nusa Laut, Pelorus has secured special permission from the local community to visit their village and engage in cultural exchanges while browsing and purchasing traditional “Ikat” textiles. Snorkelling and diving in the area promise rewarding encounters with a diverse array of fish. Enjoy a delectable beachside barbecue on Molana, with opportunities for water sports and trawling with the tender.

Enjoy a final anchorage in Ambon, close to the airport. On your final day, after a hearty breakfast onboard, the crew will escort you to the airport for your journey home.
