Pelorus partners with Oceanco to bring utility to Superyacht NFTs

In a second collaboration with Oceanco and superyacht designer Timur Bozca, Pelorus has agreed to develop a series of experiences and benefits for holders of the shipbuilder’s ground-breaking ‘Superyacht NFTs’.

Whilst many are still grappling with the concept of NFTs and Blockchain technology, Oceanco has reinforced its position as a true industry pioneer with the launch of digitally verifiable non-fungible tokens. An industry first designed for travel and yachting enthusiasts around the world.

Working with renowned superyacht designer Timur Bozca and leading blockchain developers CasperLabs, Megalodon, and Dgallery, the ultra-exclusive ‘Superyacht NFT’ collection features several iterations of concept yacht ‘Esquel’, the 105m expedition grade vessel designed by Bozca and Oceanco with the help of our team.

To further enhance the value to Superyacht NFT holders, Pelorus has been confirmed as the project’s core utility provider with commitment to developing a series of unique experiential benefits that come with ownership.

This will enable verified Superyacht NFT holders to access, insights, and operational expertise of our global travel team with perks that range from preferential rates on yacht charters, private islands, and adventure based itinerary planning services, to exclusive content and events.

Our Co-founder, Geordie, and Global Partnerships Manager, Jake, marked the launch of the partnership at last weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix where the first official Superyacht NFT event was held. Here is what Geordie had to say.
