Number one unforgettable travel experience?

Cruising on Lamima in Raja Ampat. The expertise of the crew is unsurpassable, and the biodiversity of the marine life is so incredibly rich; every dive was extraordinary. On one particular dive around Misool, I was privileged to see pygmy seahorses, as rare as they are tiny, growing to only around 2cm, alongside graceful manta rays gliding through the current, making the experience even more magical.

What's at the top of your bucket list?

Without a doubt, Antarctica for its surreal, dramatic polar landscapes, towering icebergs, and vast glaciers that define this remote frontier. The opportunity to witness penguins, seals, and whales in their natural habitat while navigating through pristine, icy waters is an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.

Lewis Pugh, a world-recognised endurance swimmer, UN Patron of the Oceans, and advocate for marine conservation. His incredible stories, disciplined mindset and inspiring presence would make him an exceptional travel companion, plus hopefully he’d happily join me for long daily swims!

Where Jungle Meets Sea: A Luxury Yacht Journey Through Panama & Costa Rica

Where jungle presses hard against the Pacific and roads simply disappear, a private yacht becomes the only meaningful way in. This journey through Panama and Costa Rica’s wild Pacific coast unfolded far from marinas and resorts, granting rare access to places still governed by tides, rainforest, and wildlife rather than schedules. From the protected reefs of Coiba National Park to the mirror-calm waters of Golfo Dulce and the raw biodiversity of Corcovado, travelling by yacht revealed a side of Central America few ever experience. Days were shaped by snorkelling and diving in UNESCO-listed marine reserves, quiet landings on empty beaches, and guided walks through rainforest that remains largely untouched.
