We like to get to know you and aim to start with a meeting or call to discuss your brief and previous yacht and travel experiences. We want to fully understand your aspirations for the trip so that we can begin to curate an itinerary and propose yacht options that align with your goals.

Your dedicated Expedition Designers then carry out extensive research around your brief, and as your trip starts to take shape, we work with our global contacts to uncover the most suitable and unique opportunities for you.

We will present you with several experience and yacht options, each with varying levels of luxury, action, adventure and exclusivity. Once you and your travel companions have had time to review these, we will meet again to discuss each proposal and to identify the next steps.

In order to fine-tune your itinerary, your Expedition Designers carry out in-depth risk assessments and due diligence. If necessary, we conduct a recce to develop your bespoke experiences, carry out a vessel inspection, arrange any required training for the yacht’s crew and even source any specialist equipment or guides.

Once you have signed off on the final itinerary, your Yacht Expedition Designers will continue to monitor all aspects of the experience, as well as the in-country situation. We will ask you to complete a preference form so your yacht crew and chef can provision and plan accordingly, ensuring your stay on board will be completely personalised. We will share a pack that includes your bespoke itinerary, information about your yacht and its crew, profiles of your host and guides, advise on immunisations, documentation, cultural observations, packing lists and relevant contacts.

As you depart, feel safe in the knowledge that the Pelorus team will be on-hand 24/7 throughout the duration of your experience to offer shore-side assistance if required.
