Expansive decks and airy interiors make her well-suited to groups of friends and family. The open eat-in galley runs through the heart of the main deck, complete with a teppanyaki grill. A lone sailing ship anchored near a rocky coast, surrounded by calm blue waters and lush green islands, with mountains in the background under a clear sky.

Hand-built from Ulin wood by Konjo Boat Builders, DUNIA BARU combines traditional Indonesian sailing construction with considered modern interiors. An open eat-in galley with a teppanyaki grill runs the length of the main deck. The master suite sits aft with a private deck area. Six further double ensuite cabins accommodate up to 14 guests, served by a crew of 18 including an onboard masseuse.

By day, DUNIA BARU works as a platform for serious exploration. Divers have access to a full onboard dive centre run by a PADI-certified instructor, with nitrox capability and 34 underwater LED lights for night diving. Tenders and jet skis reach anchorages the yacht cannot. Your crew can set up a beach barbecue on a deserted stretch of sand while guests kayak or paddleboard through the surrounding waters. From December 2026, DUNIA BARU operates in Palau as the first traditional Indonesian phinisi yacht licensed to charter there commercially, running a seven-day itinerary through the Rock Islands, Jellyfish Lake, and the WWII dive sites of Peleliu.

Why we love it

DUNIA BARU is built from traditional Indonesian sailing roots, but makes no sacrifices on comfort or capability. The owner and crew share Pelorus's commitment to ocean conservation, earthquake relief, and active scientific research, including black coral studies in Raja Ampat. Her high railings and attentive crew of 18 make her a strong choice for families. From December 2026, she becomes the first traditional Indonesian phinisi yacht licensed to charter commercially in Palau, opening a seven-day itinerary through the Rock Islands, Jellyfish Lake, and the WWII dive sites of Peleliu.
