A Phinisi Built for the Surf Lifestyle
Designed by Marc Christoffel and built by the Konjo Boat Builders of Ara, SILOINA is constructed from ironwood and teak using traditional Sulawesi phinisi methods. At 40 metres with a 2.6-metre draft, she moves efficiently through Indonesian waters and anchors in bays that larger yachts cannot enter. The hull was built to handle the open-water passages between Indonesia's island groups, providing a capable platform for extended surf expeditions.
On deck, a dedicated surf area at the stern handles board rigging, wetsuit rinsing and gear stowage. Three sundecks provide plenty of space to relax between surf sessions, whether for meals, reading or taking in the views. Meals are prepared by the onboard chef around the day's activities rather than fixed dining times, while a fully stocked bar is available for drinks after time on the water. Starlink keeps guests connected.
Six cosy ensuite cabins each convert between double and twin, creating a relaxed, sociable atmosphere that's well suited to families and groups of friends.A Bauer scuba compressor, together with full diving, snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking equipment, gives non-surfing guests plenty to enjoy on the water between surf sessions.
