Number one unforgettable travel experience?

It’s a close tie between two unforgettable adventures. One: sailing through the Komodo archipelago aboard a traditional Phinisi yacht, enjoying sunrise hikes, daily dives and snorkelling, and evenings spent watching the sun set from the deck alongside close friends. The other: a spontaneous midnight sail from St Maarten to St Barths, loading up scuba gear on a whim and heading out to dive for crayfish at dawn. Both moments capture everything I love - freedom, adventure, and life connected to the ocean.

Top of your travel bucket list?

Crossing the Pacific side of South America in a camper van, staying off the beaten path and exploring Patagonia’s wild, untouched landscapes, ideally with a surfboard or dive gear packed onboard - has long been a dream of mine. Following the route of the legendary Pan-American Highway would make the journey even more iconic. Along the way, getting involved in a meaningful marine conservation project, like those within the Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Corridor, would add a sense of purpose to the adventure and make it all the more fulfilling.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

Traveling with Benedict Cumberbatch would be the ultimate blend of wit, curiosity, and conservation-minded adventure. We’d set off tracing the Marine Corridor of the Eastern Tropical Pacific-diving in the Galápagos, Cocos, and Malpelo Islands, while supporting cross-border efforts to protect migratory species. With a detour through Patagonia for some off-grid overland exploration, it would be my dream journey. Purpose-driven, full of natural wonder, and shared with the kind of eccentric, unforgettable company that makes every moment count.
