Human Rights Commitment

Respecting people. Acting responsibly.

At Pelorus, the way an experience is designed and delivered matters as much as the journey itself. We believe every person should be treated with dignity, fairness and respect, and we are committed to upholding human rights across our business, our partnerships and the experiences we create.

As a global travel, yachting and aviation company, our responsibilities extend beyond our own operations. The decisions we make can affect our employees, clients, suppliers, local partners, communities and others connected to the journeys we deliver. We therefore seek to consider people’s rights and wellbeing throughout our business and supply chain.

Our commitments

  • Respecting internationally recognised human rights and conducting our business with integrity and accountability.
  • Providing a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace in which everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.
  • Maintaining zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, forced labour, child labour, modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Promoting fair employment practices, employee wellbeing and psychological safety.
  • Working with suppliers and partners that share our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
  • Encouraging employees and others connected with Pelorus to raise concerns in good faith, without fear of retaliation and with confidence that those concerns will be treated fairly.
  • Regularly reviewing and strengthening our policies, processes and practices as our business evolves.

Human rights and responsible travel

Responsible travel is not limited to environmental considerations. It also means respecting local cultures, protecting people, supporting communities and operating ethically in every destination.

Wherever possible, we work with trusted local partners who understand the places in which they operate and share our expectations around human rights, fair treatment, cultural respect and responsible business conduct.

These principles inform how we assess relationships with suppliers and partners, and how we approach the design and delivery of experiences across travel, yachting and aviation.

Accountability and continuous improvement

Our commitment to human rights is an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-off statement. We will continue to embed these principles into our governance, people practices, supplier relationships and operational decision-making.

As our approach develops, we will work to strengthen the evidence, processes and accountability behind this commitment, including how concerns are raised, how suppliers are assessed and how progress is reviewed.

Extraordinary journeys depend on the knowledge, care and contribution of people around the world. Our responsibility is to ensure those journeys are created with respect for the people and communities that make them possible.
