Introducing ESQUEL, the cutting-edge 105-metre expedition yacht from Oceanco, in collaboration with Pelorus.

We are delighted to be able to share images of ESQUEL, a 105-metre diesel-electric expedition yacht from world-class builder Oceanco. Her conception is a collaboration between Timur Bozca Design, interior designer Gina Brennan, Lateral Naval Architects and Engineering, and Pelorus.

Sporting a displacement hull with a plumb bow, ESQUEL has been designed for extensive cruising to remote regions, extending from the North Pole to the South Pole and everywhere in between – she has a cruising range of 7000 nautical miles and can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots. She also offers all the aesthetics, amenities, finishes, and attention to detail that we’ve come to expect from an Oceanco superyacht.

She is the perfect blend between an expedition vessel and a sophisticated superyacht. ESQUEL features a 230-square-metre tender garage for fast ribs, varietal tenders, watersports toys, and diving gear. Her expansive main deck has an aft deck glass superstructure with an enclosed pool and wellness area with panoramic views.

Working with the team at Pelorus to fully understand the true nature of experiential travel in remote places, such as Greenland and Patagonia, ESQUEL has been designed to carry and deploy two submarines, a land vehicle, and motorbikes, as well as accommodate a helicopter. She can also be equipped with laboratories for scientific experiments and exploration.
