As Caroline writes, “Pelorus has a simple answer to the perennial question of ‘what should we do with the children this summer?’ They ask the children.” From there, the adventure begins.

One such expedition saw a young guest’s dream - “I want to swim with mermaids and rescue turtles” - become a reality aboard the 45-meter Celestia. While snorkelling in Komodo’s protected waters, she encountered green turtles and manta rays. And the mermaid? A professional freediver in costume, guiding her through coral gardens via glass-bottom kayak.

Treasure hunts have become a hallmark of Pelorus family journeys, featuring elaborate narratives, costumed actors, and high-tech treasure retrievals using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), all designed to captivate young imaginations. At the same time, parents relax with cocktails on deck.
