Lydia has a degree in Neuroscience from the sunny University of Sussex, and was lucky enough to have a study abroad year in the USA, which offered opportunities to explore across the pond including an icy Christmas in Minnesota and a whirlwind road trip from New York to LA.

Since graduating, Lydia has worked in the luxury sector with a focus on the superyacht industry market, with her career moving towards the data and marketing side of business – which is where she finds the greatest satisfaction.

Number one unforgettable travel experience?

Spending a night under the stars in the Monument Valley on the Arizona/Utah border was truly remarkable – the jaw-droppingly huge sandstone structures, the cultural significance, and also a guided tour in a 4×4 (which felt a bit like a rollercoaster in the best way possible!).

Top of your travel bucket list?

So many places to choose from! I think Iceland is probably top of my list – I would love to see whales in the ocean, witness the Northern Lights, and also relax at the Blue Lagoon.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My dream travel partner is my very adventurous sister – so far we have explored California and had two very beautiful trips to Portugal.
